Can you get drunk on rubbing alcohol?

Y'know the ethyl alcohol you cant drink because they put stuff in it. If you put it in the other end with an enema kit, could you absorb the alcohol without absorbing the nasty stuff

Vegans, vegetarians how can you handle being a vegan/vegetarian?

I'm a near vegan and have been for almost two years, I don't eat eggs, meat, fish etc but I do eat cheeses. And in these past weeks its been harder for me to stay this way.

Mainly because of eggs. Everything I mean EVERYTHING has eggs in them. I recently found out that my favorite chocolate bar (snickers) contains eggs and that my favorite type of food (italian) contains eggs aswell and i've been eating them for quite a while.

and I keep finding out almost everything contains animal in it. and its starting to annoy the hell out of me.

I hate salad and I can't eat the samething everyday.

What do you vegans normally eat? Have any tips on what I should/can buy?

I'm a teenager so I don't like cooking, but if I have to then I guess I will. I honestly haven't cooked an actual meal in over a year too.

What is the difference between a starch and a carbohydrate?

Can someone explain to me the difference between a starch and a carbohydrate? I'm kinda confused on what the difference is between these foods. Starches are potatoes and corn....carbohydrates are pastas and breads.....yes..but what is the actual diffference between those types of foods. Why do they have their own seperate groups?

Ulcers from lack of protein?

My friend used to be a vegan but her parents and doctor are forcing her to eat meat now. She told me that her stomach was eating itself from not enough protein..and she said that it's ulcers.

Is that possible? I thought that ulcers was caused from a bacteria. I've been a lacto vegetarian for almost a year (but i educated myself about it and make sure to get enough of everything) and I haven't been effected by anything like that.

.. freezing glass dishes with food in them, in the freezer?

I am wanting to prepare some meals ahead of time. I have some glass dishes which it is ok to use them for baking in the oven. I am wondering if I could freeze these containers in the freezer, with the food in them?

Did I undercook my buffalo wings??

Hello all.. got a new deep fryer!! But I think my chicken wings were undercooked? The skin of the wings (when I was taking them out of the fryer) was gold, but very... 'soft', for lack of a better term. I fried it at 350 degrees for 12 minutes...

I am cooking a meal for a family where the mom is going through chemo...?

A group of us from church are trading off cooking meals for them while they go through this rough time...their only requests were no mexican and no casseroles. I have to drop the meal off at someone else's house at around 3:00 and she is going to take it to them at 5:00. What is a good, easy, kid friendly meal I could prepare that is easily portable?

Baking brownies with aluminum foil?

I'm trying a new brownie recipe for the holidays this year. My experiences with baking brownies is never good. After I've taken them out of the oven and let them cool, I can never get them out of the pan without them falling apart on me! Can I bake brownies in the pan if it's lined with aluminum foil? I think that may make them easier to get out. Also, the new recipe I'm trying is actually a cheater recipe that starts with devils food cake mix. These are going to be gifts for friends and coworkers, and I just want perfectly squared, clean brownies! Any tips or ideas?

Steak Cutlets?

I've got some thinly cut streak strips, about 3-4 inches in diameter and less than a half inch thick. I marinated them in some basic bbq sauce overnight. Anybody have any interesting ways to cook these? Broil in the oven, pan fry, etc?
