Hello all.. got a new deep fryer!! But I think my chicken wings were undercooked? The skin of the wings (when I was taking them out of the fryer) was gold, but very... 'soft', for lack of a better term. I fried it at 350 degrees for 12 minutes...

undercooked implies that the meat inside was still pink...

However, you can fry them longer to get the skin the way you want - crispy and drier.

Have fun and experiment around - 15 minutes, 17 minutes... etc.
You have a deep fat fryer!
I'm jealous.

the way you tell if your chicken is done is their should be no blood at the bone. In otherwords the meat closest to the bone should not be a reddish pink.
