Does anyone know the name of a brand of candy maker that makes hard candies that are kind of old fashioned, and they come in a tin can where the outside of the can shows a picture of the candies all laid out. It looks really old fashioned. As if I took a picture of candies all spread out, and then wrapped the picture around the canister. I hope this makes sense. I'm trying to find it...

Any thoughts? Any answers are greatly appreciated!

I have frozen beef bones from an organic farmer that I would like to make beef stock from. I know how to make the stock but don't know if I must thaw the bones before I roast them. I would like to cook them straight from the freezer but don't know if that would be detrimental.

I'm having an "after party" at my house after the employee Christmas party my restaurant is having (I'm the manager, not the owner). I am a total animal lover.
I really want to vegaterain, but this isn't possible at my house (look at my other questions). When ever we go out to eat, I order a vegetarian dish. I never buy or wear leather,fur, sheepskin or whool. I use products from the Body Shop (they don't test on animals). I never go to (don't support) circuses, marine parks or rodeos. Whenever possible, I inform people about cruelty.

Until I move out (which will be a while) I am forced to eat meat and other animal products. When I actually move out I am going to become a vegatarian, probably a vegan, but until then, what else can I do?

...and I woke up today and I've got someone else's coat and scarf. I wasn't wearing a coat at the bar and I don't know who's it was or where/when I took it.

There isn't a name or anything or any sort of ID. There was like $25 in the pocket, but I used that for Chinese food on my walk home. Man, I love Chinese food when I'm drunk. Crab rangoon and Sweet-and-Sour chicken! Aw yeah.

When I was shopping for chocolate at Wal*Mart, they had lots of dark chocolate available and it was the main product in the endcap. I had to look harder to find the milk chocolate. Why is dark chocolate easier to find than milk chocolate?
Is it like diet coke being more available than regular coke?

I am not vegan or vegetarian-I have tried. However, I would like to cut down on some of my animal product intake.

What are some good substitutes for eggs and milk?
Also, is Tofu the only real substitute for meat? How do I prepare it so that it has some real variety and flavor?
