When I was shopping for chocolate at Wal*Mart, they had lots of dark chocolate available and it was the main product in the endcap. I had to look harder to find the milk chocolate. Why is dark chocolate easier to find than milk chocolate?
Is it like diet coke being more available than regular coke?

It's exactly like diet coke, it's more healthier for you.
People are too health consciencious these days.

dark chocolate tastes alot better and is slightly better for u in numerous ways

i think it's all about marketing and it's easier and cheaper to produce black chocolate
