Why is this in EVERYTHING (or nearly everything now???) Yes, I admit, there are plenty of yummy things I eat that have it, but seriously... there are other sweetners and preservatives companies can use. I mean, it's in APPLE SAUCE! Have you ever made apple sauce... it takes 5-10 minutes and is already VERY sweet! I'm fed up with seeing it in everything. Anyway - back to my question... why is it in so much stuff???

All my makeup is getting old and I want to replace it. I prefer to spend $50-75, but I'd go up to $100 if necessary. I usually wear mascara, eye liner, eye shadow, blush, lightly tinted lip balm and powder/foundation (the all-in-one kind in a compact). My skin is somewhat oily and acne-prone if that's important. I prefer to hear from people who actually use vegan cosmetics, but any suitable answers would be great. Thanks in advance!

Of the little vegeterian/vegan people I know some of them do drink and some of them do not. I wanted to know if this was striclty a personal choice (as i don't think animals are involved with alcohol drinks) or is there a lifestyle connection to refraning from alcohol?

I wonder how i can cope with the pub and other places i go without the need for alcohol. i am raging against the alcoholic machine as it always gives me severe hangovers and i wont have it anymore! so what should i drink at the pub as not to make me look gay? (nothing wrong with gay people i love em!) i just need to find a drink in a working mans pub. i was thinkin g coffee but any sugestions? oh ive been alcohol free for 3 days now and i wanna get to 28 days!

before puting the rice in the rice cooker i add salt to it which is normal after cooking the rice i love to take a piece of plain rice and eat it on its on it has a nice taste. and for those of you which think i eat it on its on i don't, i eat it with gravey and chickhen its just occasionally i take a little piece of it in my hand and eat it why im i addicted (if you taste a small piece of rice on its own you'll see its quite nice )

How do you feel about Pennsylvania's decision to stop dairies from telling customers that their cows are not treated with artificial growth hormones?

My opinion is that it doesn't make any difference whether the milk is scientifically the same or not. If customers want to know whether the cows are treated with growth hormones or not, and the companies want to tell them, then the companies should have the right to tell them.

What do you all think?


(I know this is a repost, I'm just hoping I get more answers in this section since vegetarians are often interested in growth hormones and such.)
