It should, too many young people are dying because of alcohol related accidents.

I most certainly hope so.
To aswkingfish, the Drinking age in the US is already 21 but one can serve and do serve in the military from the age of 18. I have absolutely no problem with it and if I could have it my way, I would bring back the 18th Amendment (Prohibition). Alcoholism is just as bad as Drug Addiction and it most certainly should not be allowed.
And aswkingfish, I am also dead set on my views and will not be persuaded by anybody.

I am sorry but I steadfast hate and am against the age for drinking being over the age of 18. I am a retired service member and I will never believe we can send a man at 18 to die for his country in battle, but will not allow them to have a beer. CUT AND DRY, PERIOD, NO ARGUMENTS. ACCEPTED. ISSUE CLOSED! ! !
I may be leaving myself open here for attack, but sorry it's the way I feel on this issue and nothing, and nobody will change my mind on this issue.
