The white part was semi-soft and very creamy. Whenever I think I've found them, it turns out to be something else altogether. I'd walk a mile to buy some.

I have about 7 cups cut into florets and ready to cook. I will eat some of it raw but don't want it to go to waste. I have plenty of carrots, milk, cheese, onions, tomatoes too.

I am going to a small birthday dinner tonight, and don't have anything to bring, so I thought I'd just bring a bottle of wine I have from home. I have a Chardonnay and a Sauvignon Blanc. (they are from the same brand, nothing fancy) which would be more classy? And why, or whats the difference?

I just made my first sorbet, raspberry, and it turned out very well. There are two other flavors I want to try this summer, a blackberry and a white peach.

Blackberries tend to be very tart and need more sugar, and white peaches tend to be sweet and need less. So what I"m wondering is, when making sorbet with these fruits, do I change the ratio of sugar to water in my simple syrup (make it thicker or thinner), or do I just make more or less syrup total as needed? What would be the effects?
