I think women can drink anything else... absolutely anything else... but just not beer... I don't think it's femine...

I know it's a double-standard, but I can't help it.

anyone else agree?

I'm not some *** who thinks that women can't have abortions and crap like that, either... I'm pro-choice and border-line feminist... and I know I mispelled feminine... sorry... I just think certain things are for men and certain things are for women. That's all.

I'm an independent woman - well spoken - well educated - and a very sophisticated. I've travelled the world and have become knowledgeable of fine wine and beers. I think that some beer is definitely crap (cheap American brands) but when you begin to see that there is more to life than "Bud", and drink it at the proper temperature out of proper glassware (stein, pilsner, etc) then it is not about being masculine or feminine. It's about consuming a very interesting, complex beverage, worthy of being enjoyed by both men AND women.

I have to strongly disagree. Masculine and feminine are value or judgment terms that are pretty much subjective, exception being where the genitalia are concerned for the most part.

I actually prefer ladies who can handle a good beer. I also like a martini or a cocktail from time to time.

I guess It's not feminine....and it makes you fat. Nobody wants a beer belly. But some guys think it's hott when a girl can drink as much beer as them.

No I dont agree at all. Only because to me it doesnt necessarily have a gender type base to it, and I drink it when I dont have much money. Its cheaper then other drinks that I like and most of my girl friends drink it too. Im not a girly-girl anyway so I belch and fart and have a good time with my husband and his friends all the time regardless of the drink I have in my hand

I think women should be able to drink what they want. I prefer a girl who drinks shots or mixed drinks but some girls just like beer I guess..... I don't know.... Just my thought....

Women can and should drink whatever they want. Drinks are neither feminine or masculine, they just are.
Personally, I don't, but that's because I don't like the taste.

Are you kidding??? I love beer, especially with hot wings....mmmmmm!!!! As soon as I have this baby I'm having me a Blue Moon or a Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat as soon as possible. Some women don't like sweet froo-froo drinks all of the time.

I know, when I think beer I think of a big group of "the guys" hanging out and doing manly things...girls don't really fit into that image well.

a beverage choice does not indicate whether or not I am feminine or not. my actions speaks more for that. last time I checked femininity was about actions and words, and not what one consumes for food and beverage. i will not drink cheap American crap like bud or Coors.

so what exactly should I consume tonight at the A's game with my hot dog? a wine spritzer? puhleeze. grow up.
