It unthawed sooner than planned on Saturday morning- and I wanted to cook it Tuesday midday. Is that too of a wait?

Sasha,
I'm no expert but my brother has been a food inspector for a city government health department. He said a good rule of thumb is never store your raw meat for more than 4 days.

Therefore, it sounds like you'll be fine. By the way, this would be a good opportunity, since you know when you are cooking it, to marinate it some and get it a little more tender. You can soak it in some water with a half a cup of cider vinegar and about a tablespoon of salt. You can also add some onion slices or garlic if it's compatible with how you plan on cooking it.

good luck
Kevin

uncomplicated. a million) Fill a bowl with water. If the egg floats, then toss - which ability the interior has shrank and the empty area has crammed with gas. no longer sparkling. 2) precise refrigerated, an egg could final a month on your frig. yet for my area, for high quality, i might toss the egg after 2 weeks. Or make some crappy scrambled eggs and sauce it up with ketchup to disguise the unfavorable high quality.

NO
But you did keep it in the stor warpper ???
I am single I never buy whole birds. >> just a waste>>
but they put frozen breasts on sale and if you get there early they are still frozen.
I let them just thaw a enough to break them apart...
wrap them in waxed paper into a ziplock and freeze.
Cost justifacation having it at hand and NO waste
for a month or two.
