I am wanting to to a presentation at my college for my speech on how to make banana pudding. I only have 8-10 minutes so I have to bring my fresh bananas already sliced. But is there any way that I can keep them from browning from the time I cut them to the time I get there? I want them to look pretty :)

I love AFRICAN FOOD,spicy or not,I love it.

Beef in freezer about 1 month. Currently in fridge, defrosting slowly. Intend to fry beef, make up a pot of Bolognese sauce, take 1 portion and then (hopefully, if it's not unsafe) freeze the sauce to be thawed and reheated another day, say within 2 weeks. Is this safe or am I messing with nasty bugs?!!!

It is possible to buy washed potatos; on the face of it there seems to be no reason to peel them . I think I have read a lot of the nutritional value is contained in the skin.

I didn't take home-ec in high school. I only recently discovered that eggs have an expiration date. If the expiration date has come to pass a while ago, is it still safe to make hard boiled eggs? When I say "a while ago," I actually mean a few months.

Hi, i need to cook a lunch 3-course meal for a child. But i have to follow the criteria. The meals have to contain all nutrients possible but must be less salt, sugar and fat. I actually have to do modification of the meals from a kid who frequently eats junk food.

lets say, a kid loves eating cheeseburger, fries etc then i have to cook something similar but healthier of a healthier substitute.

please help me come up with 3 dishes of junk food a child usually eats for lunch and come up with a healthier version/modification of the 3 dishes. thank you

I found a gas station near my house that sells the best maple walnut cookies. They are full of walnuts and taste like maple syrup. I'd rather make them than buy them but I need a great recipe. The cookies they sell are large, thick, dense, not quite crisp around the outside and almost fudgy in the center.
If anyone has a recipe that they've tried I'd really appreciate it.
