I am fixing rigate soup with italian sausage and garden vegetables. I put sauerkraut in it by accident. (I have three kids, grabbed the wrong can). How can i drown out the flaver, or do you suggest anything else? Help, don't want to waste it.

I am doing great on my vegetarian diet (recently switched from a meat eating diet). However, this morning when I got up I had to make a bee line for the can. I had some guacamole last night that had been in the refrigerator for a week, but it still smelled good. Is it okay to eat guacamole?

I've seen them, heard the name ~ but have no idea really what the flavor is and what dishes might include capers. I'm pretty good with 'flavor-blending' and want to try capers, as it seems to be a low-cal flavor adder.

same ingredient, same recipe!
I have this great recipe for banana muffins (makes 8)and want to turn it into a loaf tea cake (9 x 5) but I dont know how to adjust my baking time for this. I am reluctant to constantly check on it because I heard that as I open the oven door it lets heat inside so its harder to get correct temperature. Expert bakers please help me!

original calls for 375F - 20min
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 bananas
3/4 cup salt
1 egg
1teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup butter

Maybe I'm being a bit of a snob but sometimes I think Vodka is so overrated. I'll grant that it is very versatile. But does anyone actually enjoy drinking it without a mixer. And Gin Martini's are great! I hate that practically orders Gin Martini's anymore. It just seems like some people get stuck on Vodka and never learn or appreciate the other spirits. It bothers me sometimes.
