How much that specific bottle is worth is very difficult to determine without seeing it. For a specific bottle of that age, factors such as quality of the label, level of the wine (it gets lower with age), and storage condition are going to play ever increasing factors. As well you'll need to find somebody willing to buy it; for a rarity like that it won't be an easy task, unless you can put it up for auction in Japan, NY, or London - and even then, the auction house may not accept it, depending on it's condition and if you can attest to how it was stored or not.

That said, there are comparable bottles currently on the market in the UK, and they are going for about 4,400 pounds, which is about US$8,400. That's roughly what you can expect if your bottle is in ideal condition.

As a poster above stated, a wine this old is probably past its prime - even something as legendary as Lafite. Most people who are going to buy it are collectors rather than drinkers - but not everybody.

It is way too old. You can't drink it anymore. The bottle might have some value but I doubt it will be very high. Whoever had that before messed up big time, they could have sold it at a much higher price at its peak.

Unfortunately that wine is probably well past it's prime or completely undrinkable, put it on a shelf as a conversation piece.
