Hello! I do agree that people get stuck on vodka and never venture to try anything new, absolutely! I, however, do enjoy drinking vodka with no mixers. I'm Russian and our whole family enjoys vodka on the rocks, but I will admit to being a snob as to what kind of vodka I am willing to drink straight. A nice treat is a twist of lime in it to shake things up!

MMmmmmm I love drinking vodka straight or with a mixer. It is definitely not overrated. It is the best hard alcohol.

I enjoy the better made vodkas due to their smoothness. The marketing has been very effective. Hence their overrated status.

Try something that will actually cost you money as opposed to a fifth in some plastic container. Vodka is like most things in life... the more it costs the better it tastes.
