I am a cereal-holic and have recently been eating unsweetened cereals like Cheerios and Plain Shredded Wheat in an attempt to eat healthier. But I miss my sweetened cereals and would like to be able to eat them again since the taste of nothingness is starting to get a bit old. That shouldn't be too big of a problem if the rest of my food for the day is very low in sugar right? As of now the only sugars I consume are ones from fruits and the small amounts found in bread for my sandwiches and such. I don't drink sodas or eat sweets like candy or cookies etc. I also read that added sugar allowances vary depending on the amount of calories one takes in per day. I am eating between 2500-3500 a day of mostly healthy foods. So what it all comes down to, is can I have Honey Nut Shredded Wheat without the guilt of eating too much sugar? I could just add fruit to the plain versions like I've been doing, but it just isn't the same and would like to just be able to live a little.

1) difference between:

bittersweet and semisweet chocolates?
chocolate mousse with and without egg whites?
baking soda and baking powder?
prosciutto, pancetta and bacon?

2) is the consistency...texture....etc. of using granulated sugar and powdered sugar different?

3) why is it that when i boil chicken and some veggies like for three hours or more, it still doesnt taste like chicken broth? it's not that flavorful? what can i do with it?

4) when i make carbonara, the egg crumbles, like when the dish is done, there are like little crumbs and bits of the egg. why is it like that? what can i do with it?

5) how can i make whipped cream like those in cans and they are really fluffy and soft somethin like that because of course the texture is different from the ones sold in boxes and bottles.?

6) what are the right herbs in making chiken noodle soup?

I can't seem to find one that doesn't include coke or something. All I have in the kitchen that I can think to use for pancakes is wheat flour, eggs, vegetable oil anndbaking soda. Please help!

I made a nice pie last night; I come home and find it destroyed, much like in the movie American Pie!

This is the last time I make him ANYHING!!! I wouldn't care so much if I bought the pie, but it was home made!

All he's going to be eating from now on are cucumbers, squash and zucchini, seeing he can't be trusted!

I run a social group for girls in London and try and arrange get togethers to welcome new members as the idea behind it is to make new friends, connect with like-minded girls of a similar age and improve their social lives.
The next get together is only a few weeks away and I am trying to find a venue that will accommodate about 25 people. Preferably a nice bar in a central or riverside location where I'll be able to book an area so we can have nice drinks, maybe something to eat. As it's at lunchtime; somewhere that opens from about 1pm
Can anyone make some recommendations as I'm running out of ideas!

i had one before but i lost it. i remember it really has no egg whites and i think it needs like about 7 ounces of bittersweet/semisweet(i forgot if it's the bittersweet or semisweet) chocolate. it also needs chilled whipped cream. i really want a recipe that has simple ingredients. so okay i do remember some ingredients but i dont remember the measurements...and some procedures.

also, what is the difference between semisweet and bittersweet chocolates?

How do I make a basic lasagne?
I had a lasagne once where they didn't use the white kind of cheese INSIDE,but there was some kind of WHITE SAUCE/GRAVY inside INSTEAD.

I don't know it was a basic/regular white gravy or a other kind of white gravy....
All I know that it was waaaaaaaay better than the average lasagne with the white kind of cheese inside.
