I have a box of white cake mix, a carton of sour cream, and a can of Cherry pie filling. Anyone have any good low fat cake recipes I can use, with those being the basic ingredients?

I love hot and spicy foods and they don't always give me problems. But excessively spicy foods give me the hiccups almost instantly. Why?

ive heard alot about certain fish being not so good for kids. Like marlin after my kids had eaten it though! so i thought i'd check before they have the mussles they requested that it wasn't high is some chemical etc first. Also whats this about mackral being high in mercury and is that bad if you eat it once a week like we do?

I've got a party tomorrow night, but i don't really want to get drunk, I feel that because of the atmnosphere, or peer-pressure, I will get caught up and end up getting off my face on alcohol. Any tips or suggestions on how not to drink at a party or get drunk?

My husband and I will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary in about 2 weeks. We already have the lobster tails, and we're having veal piccata. But I'm stuck on a different side dish that would go well with these two. We're getting a bit tired of asparagus and broccoli (usually with hollandaise).

I need something great and different for the side dish. Can anyone help?

(The only things we won't eat are squashes, fennel, eggplant, or brussel sprouts)

I'm making broiled crabcakes tonight and aside from tartar sauce and cocktail sauce I can't think of any sauces to put on top iof it. I'm a condiment fiend so eating it plain isn't an option.
Any ideas?

Something relatively simple; not Snapper Wellington or anything I need to go to a specialty food store for!

Any ideas how to get that "fishy" smell/taste out?
