OK...heres the thing. A girl has just recently gotten involved in my life (so happy :D). And well, i don't want loose her. So...As a surprise (if she doesnt read this), i would like to buy a bottle of the fine wine, i know wine can get expensive, but im maybe looking at a bottle around $50-$100.

Block haddock from super markets is not the same taste as I get from haddock bought at my local fish monger. I stay near Pittenweem in FIfe.

Well i live in NC and i grew up in Fl.and next month is my 21st birthday and me and my best friend sasid we would get trashed on our birthdays and she would send me a plane ticket to come down there. The only thing is i'm basically a driver for both of my parents wherever they need to go cause my dad is just getting out of the hospital and my mom can't drive. What shoudl i do?

Maybe they are a takeoff of something else in Ireland? They are very popular in the eastern United States at St. Patricks - I have made and sold numerous dozens. As with any people who emigrate some foods change due to local ingredients and some due to generational changes. Is there anything in Irish culinary history that would possibly be the 'ancestral beginning' for the Irish Potato sweet? I would love to hear anyone's ideas or information aiding me in my research. I'm curious about something. There was a question in here about Muslims refusing to handle packaged pork products while cashing people out at a super Target store. They asked the customers to hold the meat while they scanned it. How do vegetarians feel about this type of thing? Do you not handle packaged meat or dairy products or does this not bother you , you just don't consume the products? I know there are different levels of vegetarianism also.

I am not a vegetarian but have gone to and support the Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, New York. They ask that you not bring in any dairy or meat products if you are staying at their cabins out of respect for the animals. I find nothing wrong with that.

I myself, would just hold the meat for the cashier and let them scan it. No biggie. Some of the answers to the Muslim question were outrageous and just plain ignorant. I can imagine what type of nonsense vegetarians have to deal with.
