I had left a 8:30 after placing in half frozen country ribs covered in KC masterpiece BBQ sauce on 190 degress there covered in BBQ sauce, do you think by 5PM they will be cooked or overdone?

you are cooking them on a very low heat.... they shouldbe done but not overdone.

They'll be OK, I'm just a little leery about an unattended oven for 8 hours. I hope you covered them with plastic wrap and then foil and not just foil, the acid at that temp for that long in the BBQ sauce will have a reaction with the foil, be careful, good luck

I would also have added water. You could have baked them slowly all day at 190 in water and a little liquid smoke and then when you get home slather them with BBQ sauce for 20 to 30 minutes at a higher temperature. You have created a potential fire hazard.

Usually when ribs are slow cooked, barbeque style, the ribs or meat is not frozen.

Typical, bbq places cook their ribs and shoulders at 200 to 250F for 6 to 8 hours. Yours are partially frozen.

You may be pushing it, but it depends upon how much you're trying to cook and how crowded they are in your baking dish.

At 3:30, you can check them to see how they look. If they're still underdone, I suggest raising the temp to 275F to finish the last 90 minutes of cooking.

The temp is really low..So it sounds just about right!

They'll be done. Next time hun....it's best to use a crock pot or slow cooker.
