I have two cake mixes and they take 45 mins each to cook. If i put two cakes in the cake tin would i need to let them cook for double that time or just the same?

What would u recomend:cooking them seperately? or together then slicing them aprt? cause i intend putting a filling in the middle.
Also the instructions show a long cake tin (rectangle?) and the photo shows the cake sort of rised, i want mine flat on top would it stay flat using a round cake tin?
Thank you!

I know that real maple syrup is sweeter, and often thinner and more expensive, and that fake maple syrup is thicker and tastes more artificial.

But what I want to know is don't they all come from sap and are boiled into maple syrup? Why make more artificial maple syrup, rather than the real thing? How do they do it? What's the difference in the making of this maple syrup?

I get so irritated whenever I hear people claim that some vegetarians eat seafood and poultry! Seafood and poultry are flesh! Therefore, the people who eat them are NOT vegetarians! In fact, the word "vegetarian" was coined by the people who started the Vegetarian Society in England in the 1840s to describe people who abstain from eating flesh.

I tried using it in my cottage pie with the mince and onions instead of using tomato ketchup like I normally do and it was very nice, gave the meal a bit of "kick" to the flavour.

Everytime I use a recipe to make a frosting for a cake or something, it always comes out soupy. I must be doing something wrong but I just cant seem to figure it out. I've done it several times on several different occasions. So is there a step by step recipe on how to make fluffy frosting that does not come out soupy?
