The cashier at McDonalds who rang up my bacon, egg and cheese biscuit this morning was wearing a PETA 'No Fur' button on her shirt. I asked her about it because I don't wear fur coats and I was just curious. She said "They are not for people who eat meat...pause...people who care."

I was shocked as all get out when she said that. I thought to myself, does it mean I don't care because I eat meat? Was that right for her to say that?

I am just curious as to what the general opinion is on this matter. Is it true that if you eat meat that you don't care? Does it make you a bad person?

What are the funniest you have read? For example one in Latvia was written in Latvian which seemed quite straight forward but was translated as "sweat and sour sauce".
