Not fertilized! (har har har)

Seriously, I don't really care for eggs. Every once in a blue moon I'll make a batch of deviled eggs, but that's it. I have horrible memories of my mom and grandmother (on more than one occasion) *forcing* me to eat scrambled eggs for breakfast. All I know is that I was young and the eggs were very most. Definitely cooked, but still very wet. (shudder) I haven't liked eggs since then.

I can, however, answer on my husband's behalf. He likes any which way (except for hard fried), but he prefers them soft fried. I don't know what they're actually called (I call them Mary Janes--he calls them toad in the hole) but you cut a circle out of a piece of bread, butter the bread (and the reserved circle) on both sides, put it in a frying pan, then crack an egg in the center. Cook until just brown, flip over, and cook until barely done. He takes the fried bread circles and pops the yolks with them.

Oh God--I shoudln't have answered this question. Seriously, I'm gagging just thinking about the smell and sight of runny egg yolks. See, I can't even type correctly--typos and all. Thanks a lot, pal!!! :D

I have a single organic extra large egg in the morning. Here is how I prepare it. First I measure 1/3 cup of brown rice and cook it. Then I put the egg in the blender with 2 ounces of organic whole milk and blend. Then I stir the milk/egg mixture into the rice in a bowl and microwave it on high for 30 seconds, to bring the temperature above 140 degrees F, and let it sit for 3 minutes to pasteurize without cooking the egg. Then I stir in 1/4 cup of dry roasted peanuts, half a dozen almonds, a 1/4 cup of raisins, 1/2 teaspoon of organic flax seed oil, 1 teaspoon of coconut cream concentrate, a pinch of sea salt, and 1 ounce of spring water. It's a delicious and satisfying breakfast.

I like mine with a kiss! If you're cooking I prefer fried (runny yolks) with a big breakfast or scrambled with lots of hot buttered toast.
