I have a recipe that calls for Dream Whip....any idea where I can find this stuff? Do they still make it? It's a pretty old recipe. I've been to 3 grocery stores in my area, with no success.

If you have to prepare the dream whip before adding to other ingredients you could use cool whip instead, but if you are using it in the powdered form, I can't think of a substitute, sorry.

In a hurry? For a faster topping solution, try
Cool Whip Frozen Whipped Topping.

Cool Whip Whipped Topping, similar to Dream Whip Topping Mix, is a whipped topping, but it is ready to use, no preparation necessary! Simply thaw Cool Whip Whipped Topping and add to your favourite dessert. It's that easy!

You can find Cool Whip Whipped Topping in the freezer section of your local store

It's usually by the jello... either way up high or way down low, not at eye-level. It's a powder you whip w/ cold mik to get a whipped topping.

Depending upon the recipe, you coudl probably sub Cool-Whip or real whipped cream.

You can probably use any kind of whipped cream mix. Just go down the baking isle and take your pick. It should affect the recipe, just getting a different brand name.

The last I bought some was about a year and a half, maybe two years ago. I found it in the baking aisle, near the bags of marshmallows and jars of marshmallow cream. I've seen it at Kroger and Wal Mart.

You can make it yourself. Whip up some fresh heavy whipping cream in a blender. Super easy
