When I was in Malaysia, I often drank a 'Lime Juice' drink, at food stalls or other places, it certainly wasn't pure lime juice and probably had a lot of sugar in it, but I drank it too quickly to think about what was in it!
Yummmmm.... does anyone know?

I had some pheasant pot pie the other day and it was phenominally delicious. I was told the recipe came from Rice Creek Hunting, a game animal organization, but I can't find anything on their website.

If someone could post a good recipe (with sources please) for pheasant pot pie, especially if it's from Rice Creek Hunting, I would greatly appreciate it!

As my birthday inches closer, I have realized that I'm stuck in a rut when it comes to the bar. I order from a select list of drinks. If I get beer, it's either Guinness or a good wheat beer. If I want some liquor I get Captain and Coke, a Whisky Sour, or a Jack and Coke. I'm looking for a few recommendations for a new drink to get when I go out. Something easy that most bars (especially the sketchy ones I thrive on) would have the ingredients for. And please, nothing too sweet or girly. I can't stand those drinks. I like to taste my alcohol.

I saw this recipe in my local grocery ad, and have found it online at several sites. However, none list in the ingredients the "juice concentrate" it says to add with the bananas. I found some sites credit the recipe to the book "International Fish Cookery". Maybe someone out there has the book [issued 1979 by Lou Seibert Pappas] with the recipe. I've never sauteed bananas before, nor found a recipe similar to this one to know how much or what kind of juice concentrate to add.
Thanks for any help ya'll can give me.

am having a pirate party for myself as a bit of a laugh as I am turning 17. I am having about 15 friends over. I am looking for some ideas for food, decorations, costumes and games.

I live in Australia so unless you know of items that are easily avalible here, please keep the suggestions general.

I am quite a creative person so I have no problem with making a few decorations. I don't want anything thats extremely expsensive although I dont mind paying a fair amount.

Thanks!

I'm practically vegan as I don't eat or use animal products such as meat, leather, gelatin, etc., I eat cheese about once a week, and I only eat other dairy products and eggs if they are in something (cake or cookies, stuff like that). My problem is that I don't eat anything. The main foods I eat are rice, corn, potatoes (baked, chips, fries), carrots, iceberg lettuce, polenta, veggie burgers, soy nuggets, white whole grain bread, and pasta. All the other foods I eat are probably all junk food, goldfish, wheat thins, cookies, etc. I know my diet isn't very good and I would like to eat other things but I have like a phobia of trying new foods or something and somehow I or something else has me convinced that everything I don't eat now tastes disgusting. I also have another phobia of food touching. I have to have separate bowls and plates for each thing I eat because if they touch I won't eat it. I also can't eat things I think look weird. Does anyone have any tips to help me?

As I sit here falling deeper into the slump of drunkenness I am forced to ask the question of whether or not to continue. Ok so the answers pretty obvious to me.

I guess I really just want to know how many other people are doing the same thing I am on a Friday night. Drinking alone and surfing Yahoo Questions.

Come on I know you're out there.

I have really ripe bananas and i don't want them to go to waste so I want to make banana chocolate chip cookies but i don't have any butter..I was planning on replacing the butter with cooking oil....this is the recipe i am planning on using-

1 cup sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup mashed bananas
...How much oil should i use to replace the amount of butter called for in this recipe? Will they still taste good if i don't use the butter?
If you have a recipe for banana chocolate chip cookies that doesn't call for butter...that would be great as well! Thanks.

I am planning to ship truffles and other hand-crafted goodies to my clients and i am looking for an inexpensive and effective way to get them across country. They are decently fragile, although i believe the cold weather should help preserve thier shapes; however, i put alot of work and love into each piece and i'd like to see them delivered correctly. Any ideas?
