I need to feed a bunch (10?) of hungry guys, and would prefer to take something that I can make in advance and just heat up. Chili seems to be the obvious choice, but that one is already taken. Breakfast and lunch ideas are welcome as well as dinner.
Thanks in advance!

I drink a lot of seltzer water. I thought it was a good choice since it has no calories, no sugar, no sodium etc... but then someone told me that too much carbonation is bad for you. Is that true? I couldn't find anything that says it is.

I have found a good mix of ingredients for flavor but the cheese is always stringy. I have tried the stove top and a crock pot. I also tried different cheeses, Chedder, MJ, and Colby and it always comes out the same. Any suggestions?

I have been told that rice gets old (plain uncooked rice). But I have never been told how it gets old, what happens to it, how long it takes, how to know its old etc.

I am looking for specifics not just that with age it gets old.

Does minute rice have the same shelf life too?

I'm going to the Outback Steakhouse for my birthday on Wednesday. The official website doesn't list what the alcoholic beverages are (at least I can't find it). Do they have anything chocolate related such as a mudslide or close to it?

I accidently left a case of beer on my back porch for 24 hours at about 20-30 degrees F. I've read that beer gets skunked by light and not really by warming, although that can hurt the flavor. I want to bring the beer into my dark basement (where I usually keep it) and its about 50 degrees down there but I don't know if that is the best choice. Should I just keep it on the porch and cover it with dark blankets or something? Would the beer already be bad?
The beer a porter, it is in brown bottles and still in the box- I"m hoping it got very little light.

I just started college this year and am having a hard time with the food choices (they lie when they say there are vegetarian options). We have to have a meal plan and I am getting really sick of pizza and salad. Are there any ways to get more interesting food that won't cost a lot? There is a health food store down the road, but they are pretty expensive.

Bought a small bottle (with a grinder) of sea salt last week and this kind of salt tastes great! Doesn't contain iodine though.
