Why make an entire recipe just to use one cup of evaporated milk? You can always reconstitute the evaporated milk with an equal part of water and have regular milk for your coffee, cereal or any other recipe that calls for regular milk.

Once reconstituted, just keep in covered in your fridge and use it first before the milk in the carton/jug (assuming you keep milk in your fridge!).

use it in scrambled egges, mac'n cheese, use half evaporated milk and half water for any sweet recipe such as pancakes. It's milk, use it like milk. Not recommended for sauces other than dessert sauces because it's kind of sweet.
