I would like to get some Champagne to celebrate a new beggining, a new life. Different from the one I have now. Thank you for you comments.

Yes, there are many other ways you can celebrate w/o Alcohol. Thank you for that suggestion and I will think about other ways I can celebrate a new beggining.

In Germany there was sekt (sounds like "zekt" when you're sober, but "sex" when you're drunk) that was soooo very cheap, and the sweet kind was sweet, while the dry kind was...eh. Anyway, it was nice and bubbly, and if you're American you can be uncultured and call it Champagne because Champagne is just a (usally sweet!) white wine with bubbles.

Or you can call it "bubbly" because it is, and that way you won't have to listen to how Champagne only comes from Champagne grapes in Champagne France. Silly French people and their provencialism. Heh!

Most definitely Martini & Rossi, Asti Spumante. It has a very good flavor and definitely is not dry. Cost me only $7.99 here in Brooklyn NY for a regualr size bottle
