I want to make some veggie Jelly and have bought some vegi-gel stuff which looks like granuals and i guess its pectin based.

How do i use it to set Jelly.

I'm thinking of adding it to squash ( cordial ) , fruit juice , liquidised fruit......but have no clue what to do.

Is this a African American tradition? If so what is it all about? I would like to know it's orgin, and the reasoning for this. I'm in search of real answers people. This is one of those things that my mom does every year and all she can tell me is that it's a tradition from long ago within the African American culture.

From Northern Ireland and shops over here dont do popcorn seeds. I've been looking everywhere for them without any success. My mum bought us the Popcorn Poppers machine for Christmas and I quite disapointed that I cant use it if can't the seeds. Is there a website that I can actually buy it from?? Can you Help?? who decided on the offical grape flavor that we associate with soda, candy, gum and juice drinks, because they dont really taste like grapes. how did they decide on that flavor to represent grapes.
