Just run the wine through a sifter to get the pieces out...

Wine ages in old wooden barrels, and in some cases the vineyards add twigs, leaves, and other foreign objects. So I wouldn't think that a tiny bit of cork in the drink could be any different.

However, being that it would probably float to the top, you could always pour a glass and then fish it out with a spoon.

I would only be concerned with pieces of the metal foil wrapping over the cork somehow getting into the drink.

If the cork is in the wine because it has dried out, I suppose it is possible that the wine has bacteria in it, and it could be dangerous. As long as the wine tastes ok I imagine that it is safe to drink.

When I was in Europe I drank wine all of the time and sometimes there would be a little cork in the glass and if it was big pieces I would take it out, otherwise I just drank it.

generally, wooden cork is used 4 closing the bottle together with the cap,so it's closed tight n safe 4 storing.this wooden cork is quite brittle n can't be dissolved in our stomach if carelessly take it in the drink but it's harmless.

best wishes n happy new year.

You already drank the wine, didn't you? You sound drunk. Nothing wrong with a bit of cork.

The only thing you have to worry about is choking.

To solve the problem you just have to strain the wine into another clean container and funnel it back into the bottle.

Not a problem as I have done that many times. Just don't swallow the pieces or choke on them that's all. Even if you swallowed the pieces there would probably be no ill effect.
