Here you go:* 2 cups granulated sugar
* 2/3 cup milk
* 1 cup marshmallow creme
* 1 cup peanut butter, creamy or chunky
* 1 teaspoon vanilla

Boil sugar and milk in a medium saucepan, stirring occasionally, to soft ball stage*, or about 236° on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour candy into a greased 8x8-inch pan and chill. Cut peanut butter fudge into squares when cool and firm.

To Test for Soft Ball Stage
A small amount of syrup dropped into chilled water forms a ball, but is soft enough to flatten when picked up with fingers (234° to 240°).

I want to make this:

Heat up a cup of water as if for tea. Disolve 2 and a half tablespoons of honey in the water. Soak a lemon slice for 5 min in the water. Drink it up!

Would substituting regular liquid honey with pure clover honey flakes be the same? If so, how many flakes would equal 2 and a half tablespoons of liquid honey?

Aunt Frieda used to make something she called "kleuten" sp?? They were kind of chewy dumplings that she put on top of stew or soup. I know they had flour and egg in them but I don't know what else. Can't find them in any German cookbook. Can anyone help?

My son works at a local restaurant and needs help on finding information about refrigerating hot soups/food. One of his bosses says it need to go directly into the refrig. once the stove is shut off. The other says it needs to cool down. My son knows that adding hot things to the refrig., is not safe because it raises the entire temp, but the food shouldn't be left out and risk reaching the DangerZone. Will immediatly chilling soups cause them to spoil? Where can he get proffesional advice because they recently had to throw alot of fresh soup out becuase of this problem- "when in doubt throw it out"
