I have been a vegetarian for over 10 years now and the only time I ever eat quorn is when I am eating at a friend's house and they have cooked it for me. I don't like fake meats, or enjoy them but am too polite not to eat it when I am given it. Usually I tell them before I come over not to cook me a special vegetarian dish and I will be happier with whatever they are having minus the meat.
Why is it that (in my 10 years experience) nobody who eats meat can accept the fact that a vegetarian may actually like substitute meats?
