I would try something like brushetta, but substituting the tomatoes for a puree and a little garlic and mozzarella. Could also add some parma ham.
I'm quite hungry now!!!

XMAS is a celibration of CHRISTS birth --- iff no BELIEF ! why join in AT ALL ?
get the " FUSSY " CHILDREN to SERVE the pate and the soup --- and INVITE them to XMAS " FAMILY " DINNER --- or give option to leave house for xmas and have a macdonalds etc. [ here is £ 20 ] GO
your children need to learn RESPECT
XMAS GIFTS are not a RIGHT
they are for GOOD christian chidren --- as a REWARD for good behaviour
all else is just VERY WRONG
i feel sad for all people --- that USE xmas FALSELY
do not PAMPER them --- TEACH THEM
you call them " FUSSY " i will say " spoilt selfish and bone- idle ----- have seen many times
is time they MATURE and take responsability
but that is YOUR DECISION
best wishes

Maybe some toasts with a spread made of mayonaise and grated parmesan cheese.
You mix the parmesan chees and mayonaise, spread on slices of white bread, put them in the oven until the cheese melts or the bread is toasted, and serve.
In my family this is usually served when kids are to be fed, and they usually love it.
You can also try hotdog paté. You blend a can of hotdogs with a 250 ml pack of tomato sause. You can add some mustard. Use it to spread on bread slices or crackers.

Well you could try one of 3 approaches:
1. Tell them unless they eat everything without moaning they won't get any presents (and open the presents AFTER the meal).
2. Ask them what they would like and then get a guarantee that they will eat without moaning or they won't get any presents (and open the presents AFTER the meal).
3. Let them eat nothing (no starter).. No moaning, no fuss you have just given in!

I would suggest some garlic bread, assuming they'll eat that, or if not garlic you can buy some cheese and herb bread which is less 'offensive' to fussy eaters! If they eat it they should still have room for the main course and if not you haven't broken the bank or your neck trying to accomodate them!

I don't do different food for different people (unless they are vegetarian or allergic or very young children). Treat them the way most teenagers want to be treated, the same as adults. Give them the same starter and if they don't want it they can leave it. Its not as if they will starve, I am sure they will eat loads of turkey etc.

I wouldn't go out of my way to prepare anything too elaborate for them. At my house we usually just put out some tortilla chips and salsa for the younger fusspots. They seem to like that as well as anything. Where I live ( Vancouver, BC ) at Christmas you can get red and green colored tortilla chips. They always look nice and festive !

hi there you may want to try a vegetable tray and cheese tray.try also to add some pickles to these two trays. Most teenagers are trying to watch their weight and are very picky..Last but least you could just ask them what they would like and if they would be willing to try something new..I have found that teenagers know what they like to eat you just have to ask them..Good Luck and I hope that this has help you>>HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Fried Mozzarella sticks. Honestly, who doesn't like them? Have marinara sauce and ranch dressing for dipping.
