I am interested in finding many light-cooking recipes. Does anybody have a few favorites to recommend or good websites they use? They can be of any kind, main dishes, desserts, etc.

I tried to grill a piece of it the other night. It had a great taste but it was really tough. I ended up putting the left over portion in the crock pot and made like a stew with it. Is this the only way to make it tender?

I was just wondering what stores sell Acidophilus milk and what grains acidophilus is found in since I read an article on wiki that stated that acidophilus was found in grains.

I live in Japan, and in mid-November every year people here get very excited about the arrival of the year's beaujolais. You see it in every place that sells or serves alcohol. Now, I know next to nothing about wine, but I thought that 'old' wine is supposed to taste far better than 'new' wine. I thought that wine gets better with age, so why is this 'noveau' wine so popular?

Have any of you had or been to a party where they had a hog roast? What was it like? We are thinking of serving this at our engagement party, but having never had one myself I don't know what to expect!

I have to plan a theme Christmas dinner for our section at work for a progressive dinner. Our them was a southern Christmas, but that's been done so much. I want to make it more of a classic southern Christmas, like what you're Grandparents would have done. I need some ideas on what types of foods to have people bring or different decorations I can do. We're going to have a classic ham I know, but everything else is up in the air. I do need somthing that is easy to serve though and ideas that are ok for an office party. Thanks for all the help and have a Merry Christmas!

I have a whole lot of green mugs and was thinking of doing something with them for christmas presents. I was trying to make my own hot chocolate powder so that all you had to do was add hot water or milk. But so far mixing variations of sugar, cocoa and powdered milk - it doesn't taste very good. It's great and all to give a homemade present but not if it tastes bad.
