The Zombie is a good drink to make if you are trying to get smashed. The Bloody Mary is a classic and great for a hangover. As for your choice of shots, not very impressive. I am not a big fan of that shot and it isn't something that you want to drink a lot of. You should try a Kamikaze. My personal recipe is:
1:1 ratio vodka and lime juice
For the vodka, I use Grey Goose. For the lime juice, I use fresh lime juice, in a 1:1 ratio of lime juice and simple syrup. Makes a great shot. Combine the equal parts sweetened lime juice and vodka into a shaker with ice, shake, and pour.

OK, this is a good one for a Bloody Mary. Take a pint glass, dip the rim in lime juice and then kosher salt. Fill TO THE TOP with ice. Add 2 oz. vodka (Absolut Peppar for an extra kick), and fill to the top with a GOOD Bloody Mary mix. Not tomato juice or Mr & Mrs T, there are better ones out there, the thicker and spicier the better. A dash of hot sauce, a teeny splash of either dill pickle juice or green olive juice.

Garnish with a lime wheel and either a dill pickle spear or a skewer of big green olives, depending on which juice you used.

SO GOOD!
