Basically, I just want to send out a cool looking invitation and ask people to click a button to say whether they are coming or not... anyone seen this service around ?

its the best, and it sends out reminders to people when the date of the event is approaching and for those who havent yet rsvped. Its a free service and gives you hundreds of backgrounds to choose from.

You can use your Yahoo. Calender to send invites and collect replies or use a site like Evite: http://www.evite.com/ all the information stays with them and all who reply can read who's coming or not. Hope this Helps!
