There is a correlation between milk consumption and osteoporosis but it's not what the dairy industry is telling us. The countries that consume the most milk also have the highest rates of osteoporosis. It's not to say that calcium is not necessary for developing strong bones, it is. It's the fact that there seems to be an optimum level of calcium intake for maintaining strong bones and both too much and too little can result in osteoporosis.

Is eating a banana in public an uncomfortable experience? I always feel like people are watching me wrap my mouth around this phallic object. Anyone out there feel the same way about this? I almost feel ashamed when doing it....

Just back from Greece & whilst there had fab lamb kleftico, but when I have looked at the recipes they do not seem anything like we had. This was in alot of tomatoey sauce, with potatoes, carrots, feta, and slices of mildish green chillies. Anyone have a similar recipe?

I need your advice. My dad drinks, a lot, I mean one weeks limit every single day, not kidding. But I was wondering if he was just going through a midlife crisis, or if he was an alcoholic, he doesn't drink during work, he works for his self so he schedules it around that. I dont know.
Please dont answer if it's silly.

I cook dinner for my family almost every night. I am tired of cooking the same old stuff, chicken, ribs, pork chops, etc.
Any ideas on some creative menu items?

also, if you can post the recipe, that would be great.

I'm decorating a cake and will have Dead playing in the background. This is a celebration of him adopting my son (his part of the party is Star Wars themed.) I would like some activities for the adults.

I usually peel off the skin when eating fruits like apples, pears, peaches etc, however, someone recently told me that most of the vitamin content of fruits is genrally in the skin, so by peeling off and discarding the skin of these fruits I am not getting the full nutritianal value.

Does ayone know if this is true?

Thanks
