Lemonade with red dye. Started out in the circus, they ran out of water to make lemonade, grabbed a bucket that someone had been soaking their red tights in, voila, pink lemonade, it was a hit, selling it ever since.

Pink lemonade was originally made with a little grenadine syrup (which is made from pomegranates) added (made it pretty and cut the sour just a little bit more than just sugar).
Now, I think people use cranberry juice. You could use Pom brand pomegranate juice, too.

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups white sugar
9 cups water
2 cups fresh lemon juice
1 cup cranberry juice, chilled
DIRECTIONS:
In large pitcher combine sugar, water, lemon juice and cranberry juice. Stir to dissolve sugar. Serve over ice

good question i would guess any fruit that is pink or they could be fake ingredients just to give it a different taste and color.
