I'm vegetarian and are going vegan in a bout 3 months, (when my daughter is born) but I have some tough questions that are floating through my mind.

1. How do you deal with letting people babysit/take care of your child when you don't know what's in their food?

2. How do you deal with people telling you that your child is/is going to be unhealthy?

I know it's a lot easier to be vegetarian... 'just no meat please', but I WANT to go vegan and I've read that it's healthier for your kids anyway. But I'm really worried about all of the things that will eventually revolve around my daughter when her grandparents take her and so on.

Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much.

I have 1 lb. hamburger, brown sugar, ketchup, barbecue sauce, eggs, parsley flakes, grape jelly, onion powder, no onions (i dont like onions), no worshisire sauce. I just want basic meatballs, I'll be the only one eating them so I dont need to impress anyone. thanks ( I do have a crockpot)

They pride themselves on good food but why is it that the egg custards and apple pies look as though they have never been near an oven. Why are they allowed to get away with it ?

I've had it since the beginning of June, and i'm now wondering if its still safe to eat? On other products it usually says 'refrigerate and consume within 6 weeks' but it doesn't say it on the pickle. The best before date is May 2008 but surely I couldnt keep the pickle for 2 years!

Also, can they withhold my pay if I do not return the keys to the restaurant? They treat people like sweatshop workers with little or no respect. As a mgr there, this is totaly unacceptable. So I prefer to give a two week notice, but if they are going to treat me like that, I'm just going to bag them and move on with life. The restaurant keys will be in the garbage, as well as my comp card, if they do not honor my two week notice. What should I do? I have a fantastic job lined up starting next week. Also, I was one of the few Americans who worked in this kitchen, among all the spanish speaking employees, who knew no english at all, I felt ridiculed and singled out in a negative way continuously {one reason for my resignation} What should I do?
