There is a legal requirement to state what measures are being used...there are 3 sizes, 125ml, 175ml and 250ml. A standard bottle of wine holds 750ml therefore 3 x glasses of 250ml and just over 4 glasses of the 175ml. Most pubs offer two out of the the three sizes.

A small glass is usually 175ml, and a large glass is 250ml.
A whole bottle of wine is 75cl, which is the same as 750ml.

It varies - unlike spirits there is no requirement for the amount to be stated.
