i was chatting with my siblings and we got to talking about the first meals we ever learned how to cook. we debated back and forth and figured out that the 'simple' breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, pancakes, and sausages was the first real, cooked meal we ever did (we consider it real because of having to make the pancake batter and then cooking them, and making sure the eggs and sausages didn't turn into black objects) the other first meal we all remember making was spagetti (this was when we were about 8-10 yrs old).
do you remember what was the first 'meal' you ever cooked and how old you were?
i'm just kinda curious especially since when i talked to my friends about this it turned out the guys learned how to cook (and i mean REAL cooking. adding milk to captain crunch does not count as cooking) at an earlier age than the gals (and some gals still hadn't learned how to cook anything)
