Yes I do, but I haven't always done so.

For years I ate no dairy beyond chocolate - not for any particular reason other than I didn't like milk / cheese / yohurt. I eventually started eating parmesan (freshly grated / shaved, not the icky dried kind) on pasta and that was goo-ood, but I wasn't tempted further.

Then, a few years ago I went to work in Spain for the summer and lived in an all-inclusive hotel. The local butter was icky so I needed an alternative for my breakfast rolls, and tried the yellow cheese they had there. No idea what it was but I got hooked.

Now I eat cheese twice a day most days. I like cheddar slices on my lunchtime panini, and more cheddar or parmesan with my evening pasta (I'm a creature of habit - I have favourite meals and I tend to eat them constantly).

Thumbs up:

fresh parmesan
Cheddar - the more mature the better
Edam
Gouda

Thumbs down:

anything blue
processed cheese, like those plasticty cheese slices
cooked cheese of any kind - just doesn't do it for me
cream / soft cheeses

I like cheese, but not at the connoisseur level. Some so called great cheese is actually quite nasty. My rule is that if it smells, I probably won;t like it.

I love to cook with it though. anything with cheese is OK in my book

Yes, I eat it every day. Grilled cheese, chips'n'cheese, plain cheese, with eggs, with potatoes, with fruit, anything! It's my favorite food.

I used to, until I found out that the coagulating process of it involves the stomach lining of a freshly slaughtered calf! Is nothing in this country ethical anymore.... Wait, it never was!
