A vegetable is a generic term for anything edible that grows so Garlic meets thatdefenition

An herb is any vegetable cultivated for medicanal or spititual values. Most of them happen to taste great. Garlic also meets this defenition.

A fruit is a seed bearing gord like an apple, orange, cucumber or squash. Fruit funny enough are technially vegetables. Garlic however does not have seeds within the cloves and are therefore not fruit

Short answer. It is a vegetable and a herb, but not a fruit.

i think it's a vegetable because it's related to the onion. it might be an herb though too, so honestly i don't know. but i'm 99.9% sure that it's NOT a fruit

its not a fruit & neither is it a vegetable. Nor a herb. Its a stem & is used to add flavour.
