Banquet frozen dinners are now down to $1.00 retail price at my local supermarket. I am very, very nervous about this. Does anyone know why they are so cheap? They taste pretty good, especially the mac & cheese and the fried chicken.

is whole wheat flour interchangable with regular flour?

i told my hubby to get some flour on the way home from work today...and he accidentally picked up the whole wheat kind. i don't mind it in certain recipes, so i plan on keeping it. however, i was going to make some gingersnaps(i already have the sugar/egg/mollasses/etc. mixture made) and wasn't sure if i could just use the whole wheat flour in it, since i don't feel like running to the store right now. will it effect the flavor much?

Manicotti - Are there any tricks to stuffing cooked shells so that they don't split?

Cooking dinner and I now remember why it has been so long since I made manicotti....the shells split as I stuff them. Did I cook the noodles too long? I'm hoping someone has a tip.
