It depends. I love Mexican because of the unique spices and ingredients, especially when you get to the regional cooking level. But as there's really no such thing as "American" cuisine -- are we talking Southern fried, New York Deli, California sprout and avocado or Midwestern hearty? -- it's hard to say.

America has different cuisine even in different states! All of it is good. So is Mexican. Good food is good food, no matter where it comes from. I like it all.
