I have tons of wild garlic mustard plants in my backyard. I eat the leaves in salads and steamed. I havested a whole bunch of seeds today and was wondering what I needed to do to make a grainy prepared mustard. I know I should crush them and then add vinegar, wine, or water, but do I cook them? Should I roast them first?

If you leave ice cream in the fridge too long, ice crystals form. It's still good, but can I prevent this?

I always avoid cooking them, because I am afraid I am hurting them. Its a horrible way to die, and I don't have the stomach to chop the head off first either.

I was grilling burgers for the Fourth today and was reminded of a perennial question of mine: Why is it that the only flavor of individually-wrapped cheese slices is American (which is not even legally speaking cheese, but a processed cheese product)? I've seen slices of cheddar sold, but they aren't individually wrapped. Fat lot of good that does me when I eat one every two or three months or so. I read the Wikipedia article on processed cheese, and I see it has two characteristics that might affect the marketability of slices of other cheese: processed cheese has a longer shelf life, and it doesn't separate when it melts on a burger. But the latter bit doesn't explain why they don't try to sell to those who make sandwiches. Which leaves the question of shelf life; perhaps the shelf life of regular cheese is so short it's not feasible? But regular cheese will last forever if properly packaged; perhaps that's the only issue. Any other thoughts?

Remember those tan light golden brown M&Ms that about 10 years ago were replaced by the blue ones? I miss those. Are they still available anywhere by special order?

I am in the middle of making an angel food cake (mix) and it calls for a tube cake pan: 375 degrees & 35-40 minutes. I don't have one, and was planning on using a 9X13 cake pan so I need to know the time difference, and temperature difference if any. Thanks!!
