Martini & Rossi is a brand name. Asti Spumante is Italian Sparkling wine.
Asti = Region of Italy
Spumante = Sparkling

most are made from moscato grapes and are a bit sweet, but not dry. Tosti is nice, Mondoro is super sweet. Ballatore is gross.

Have it with dessert like cheesecake or fresh berries. He "is" trying to romance you~ Have fun!

Asti Spumante is a sweet sparkling wine usually made in California. Since the French insist that only they can use the term Champagne for sparkling wine made in the Champagne region of France. It tastes good but can give a bad hangover if you have too much.

Asti is Italian champagne. It is very good but a little sweet. It is especially good for making Bellini cocktails. Just mix it with Kerns Peach Nectar over ice. On a hot day, man is that delicious!

It's a sparkling white, not to be confused with champagne (which is only made in the Champagne region of France). It's not a bad budget selection, but in the same price category,I would infinitely prefer Tosti over M&R.

You lucky lady! Martint & Rossi Asti is my favorite! As others have said, it is a sparkling wine. I like it better than champane.
