Singles & Dating - 10 August 2007

My boyfriend is going to college in a town two hours from my college town. He shares a two bedroom apartment with three roommates. There are two twin beds in each bedroom and they have a large sofa in the living room. I have been dating my boyfriend for a year, and have known two of his three roommates for at least a year. I feel very comfortable and close to them all, like they're my brothers. Whenever I visit my boyfriend, I sleep on the sofa, or in bed with him. However, my mother who lives near MY college town, says that she worries people will think I am a "bad" girl with a dirty repuation, because I spend every other weekend staying in an apartment where the male female ratio is 4:1. I say that it doesn't matter, she says it does and people will look down on me. Any advice? I love my boyfriend very much and we are discussing an engagment. Do I just ignore my mother, or should I find somewhere else to stay while I visit him to "save face"?

I went on a float trip with my x boyfriend who we are just friends now with the understanding that who knows if we could ever get back together or not.We were with a group of 5 girls 2 guys.We were drinking and on the subject of boobs because on member of the group had had a breast reduction and one had a boob lift.These girls decided to show us their boobs and we were all just laughing and having fun and they said come on you do it too.So i gave em a flash.i have never done anything like that before and it is out of character for me.After i did this, the X floated ahead of us and went back to camp.when i got back,he said,what did you do after i left show them your P***Y and have sex with them.i walked away.He continued to be stupid and embarassed me badly in front of my friends because i had flashed.Hesaid it was disrespectful to him and he could not believe i would do that.He told one of the people there something i had told him in privacy.i guess to pay me back.

This guy I like showed all the signs of liking me. He would make up stupid excuses to talk to me, he'd get jealous when I was with other guys, he'd try to make me jealous, he'd try to get my attention, and he always stared/watched me. He looks at me differently then other girls. What I dont understand is why he denies all of this? Why he will date girls who are all over him,who he doesnt even like, but when it comes to me, he pulls away as soon as we come close..... Hi, I love my girlfriend to death. My personality is more of a care-free, live int he moment attitudes, but when i'm around her, I get all mushy and stuff. Always massaging her, always paying for dinner, always there to do whatever she wants. But she acts as though she isn't into me at all. i am 19 years old and i have been dating my boyfriend for about 8 months. He is the first person that I have felt comfortable having sex with. Here's the deal.In march I met this guy.He chased me out of the bar & asked for my #.We went out a couple times talked for hrs had a great time.Things were good,moving along.We slept together(1x)then he decides he needs more time.He dated this girl for 2-3yrs...she must have been hard on him bc I can still see it in his eyes...& they still work together.I have had some health issues the last couple months & hes been great.We see each other 1-2x every 2wks.Everytime he leaves, I cry but he doesnt know.He always says he misses me,I look gorgeous etc. 2 wks ago I told him it was time to throw caution to the wind he thought I ment sleeping together.He said he only can do that w/ someone he is dating bc the girl before me only used him for sex.I think he is great & I would never ever do that.So I said...See I want to date you.He was away & said we would talk about it when he gets home.That was last fri.I sent him a text tues.we talked for a while,said he would call this wk but hasnt.Advice?

I am friends with a guy and i am pretty sure he likes me. We get along well and we talk about our past love lives for some reason. We both seem to have baggage and he has a girl that he would still be with if she wasn't in jail.
