Well... I think it is not needy at all! I am in my late 30s, I started a new relationship about four months ago (It's been really nice after having been alone for quite some time!) and we've talked on the phone every night since the first night even though we see each other every single day! We work in the same company and we just love to talk at night. You know, it is what you say: the need to call your girl every night and the need to hear her voice. If you are in a new relation, wouldn't a call be something that you would expect from your new beloved one?

If you both are enjoying each others company all the time when you go out...and you're building a new relationship..as her how she feels about calling each other nightly or would that be too much.??

Some girls really enjoy talking on the phone while others don't like it so much* This would be something you can talk with her about over dinner or at a show together~

Just keep the relationship Fun..it doesn't have to be "spending alot of money" .........just small things the two of youc an enjoy while doing it together. Good Luck*

I don't think I would mind a phone call every night. Of course there may well be times when I'm busy and can't talk. I wouldn't interpret it as needy, but I wouldn't expect it either, not in a new relationship anyway.

That's super needy. You don't need nightly phone calls until the relationship is very far in.

don't expect a nightly call. calls, or time together, should be treasured, spontaneous, and worth the time. i wouldn't want to feel the "pressure" to call just because i haven't called the night before, and ending up with nothing to say. don't get me wrong, i would love to hear from her, but if i am "expected" to call every night... sorry, that's not my way.

TOO NEEDY, girl. Come on! If you are waiting by the phone for his call, he'll run in the other direction. Stuff comes up. Nobody who has a life (translation: who would be a desirable mate) can actually call someone EVERY night. Oh, and one more thing...if he DOES start calling each night, be busy. Or, the next time he calls, be busy and say, "Thanks for calling but I gotta run!" Don't explain why. He'll be ringing your phone off the hook. May even propose.
