Many woman equate a low status job with low ambition. Accually a job is to make money. It doesn't tell you anything about a guy, except that he has bills to pay. It doesn't tell you if he's going to school or has another job or his own business. Besides that many guys inherit a business or get their job through connections in wich case they don't need much ambition.
I asked the question about turn offs and gave 10 choices and about half the answers (out of 26) put low status job in the top 5. One even put it above fat. Fat tells me more about someone then their job. Fat tells me you are either lazer or eat too much or have a condition that keeps you from exercising.
Besides all that what does job status have to do with dating? (unless it's illegal or immoral) I find it hard to believe that so many woman could be so shallow, stupid and materialistic. I hope the answers I got don't reflect the real world.

ok so im very shy, not a good talker, seem to sulk in the shawdows and look sad all the time, not very good with talking to ''very friendly'' guys....any advice on how to gain confidence, talk better, be freindly,what certain expressions mean, how to gain control and not seem too timid to where its annoying not cute? im not ugly and guys come up to me but i talk too low and stutter and always make a fool of myself ....some lose interest

Why do guys only date skinny girls that dress slutty?
I am a majoy sport chick, and am bigger boned and

this guy and i have been on and off talking for a couple of months. i ask him if he cared about me and he said yeah i care about you but we are just friends. thats fine with me id rather have him in my life as a friend than nothing at all. we still talk but he'll drive by my job and stare at me. recently he pulled in the parking lot and drove all the way around and left. its weird i dont understand. is he checking up on me???? it feels like that. but he says we are just friends. i dont know what to do. i care about him alot but hes totally confusing me. o ya....no we are not having sex !!!! at first i thought he just wanted to use me then i realized he would be trying alot harder than he is.

i have this guy friend that i met while he had a girlfriend we talked alot and hes really nice but i see him as a friend the first few days we talked after i met him he always told me i was cute flirted with me and asked me for pictures..if you know what i mean after i kept saying no he started talking to me like a normal person (finally) he would rub his girlfriend in my face i didnt really care i just didnt understand why he would bother a few days before he left for vacation he started acting kinda shady

he left for vacation and then came back about 3 days ago now he doesnt even talk to me anymore he used to message me the minute he got on...i liked talking to him as a normal person...whats his problem?

I'm 32, female, and single. I have had numerous financial problems; some were because of my sheer irresponsibility and others were because of extenueating circumstances. I am working towards taking care of everything, but it is going to take awhile. I never thought this would be an issue when dating, but it is. I have not dated in awhile, but the last time I did, I was kind of embarressed to talk about everything. And the guy I was with usually paid, but I felt like I was taking advantage. I always offered when I could; but being that I am on a strict budget, there were times when I truly did not have the money to offer to pay for meals, etc.

How do I get guys to understand that I am working hard to take care of everything and not a golddigger? I also don't want some guys to think that I am looking for someone to take care of me...I am really not looking to borrow money from someone every month, just looking for someone to date. How would guys view my situation?

I have been dating my girlfriend for nearly a year now. We have been friends for years (since we were very young) and we spend a lot of time together before getting together. We both know we love each other and everything is great except for the fact her family hates the fact I am with her. She is a 22 year old and I am a 24. They think that we are headed for a disaster even though we treat each other wonderfully. They think I am taking her out every night getting her drunk and corrupting her. Which is total opposet of what we do. We sit and watch TV every night or see movies. We arent crazy party people or anything. Ok, I'm 100% positive that I'm not having until until I'm married (oh and I'm almost 24). But I recently met this guy that I kinda liked and we went to ihs apartment and fooled around a bit....actually a bit too much for me. Its not like he forced me...I enjoyed it. But now I feel sooooo guilty.....like I've cheated on my future husband! :o(

We didnt do anything "Sexual", technically....
We just made out and well....I let him play with my boobs alotttt! He gave me a hickey But I was still fully dressed and he only had his top off.

I feel soooo guilty now. As if I've lost a piece of my innocence.

They have dated and gone on and off for around 4-6 years. They dated in high school and now both are adults. I came into the picture when he was only starting to get over her. He doesn't want to talk to her or introduce us, or attempt to stay as friends with her (their communication was damaged over the years so he doesn't feel right trying to be friends with her) He still has flashbacks and memories of her when he is alone. Anything I can do to help?

We have already broken up and I waited for him to sort his relationship with her out. I don't think he has healed from it. I am not sure if I should do it again because he believes it will damage the relationship we have together further. I really like him and I care immensely for him (thus my patience for him to get over this girl) I think we have a lot of potential but I am not sure how to deal with this on a daily basis.

Sometimes I think I talk about it too much with him. Should I continue supporting him?

Well do you think this is awful? I have a sister that was in a relationship for 4 years with a gentlemen and they broke up a month ago, and I always remembered her playing around saying that she would get with his son if their relationship didnt work out. Why do parents stress so much over these particular sleepovers? Im 13 and I have a group of friends that go to my church and we want to have a boy/girl sleepover, but im not sure if my parents would agree with that. I am a nice guy, and I have never had any success with girls. On the other hand, dudes that treat girls like a piece of $hit seem to get a lot of girls. I thought it was just dumb girls who go for bad boys. I am currently attending a college whose students were top students in high school. So I assume the girls here are pretty intelligent and smart. The girls here also seem to go for so-called bad boys. Man I don't think I can be abusive to girls. I can talk smack with dudes, but I just can't do bad things to girls. Am I hopeless?
