Singles & Dating - 10 July 2007

My boyfriend and I have been staying together for about 3 months now. It was never planned...one day I went there to spend the night at his house and never quite made it back home (I stay with my parents). This past week, he's been making comments about him needing space...and why don't I come to his house 4 days out the week instead of staying everyday. Now, I know what that looks like...so of course, I got my stuff and went back to my parents. But now the guy calls me every night...like 10ish 11ish and expects me to drive over there. Like he wants me to be there...but not stay there. My parents prefer me to stay in one place...rather than bounce back and forth because it looks bad, you know? I mean, should I just leave this guy alone or what?

I really like this girl but im kinda nervous to talk to her on the phone. I talked to her once on the phone... and the conversation lasted a grand total of five minutes and it was extremely awkward...I couldnt think of anything to say. In person...im fine, but on the phone, i freeze. Generally i dont talk much on the phone, but I was wondering how I can make the conversation longer and more enjoyable?

well i met my ex-girlfriend 4 years ago in a chatroom and eversince we started talking we both clicked. The day we met for the first time i asked her out while playing mini-golf and i kissed her. We went out for 3 months but i was facing some issues while we were going out. I was depressed because before we went out i was doing drugs and I stopped because i fell in love with her. I wented us to be happy so i did that not thinking i was going to become depressed. During the last 3 weeks we went out i became really aggressive and i became mad for anything if she spent time with her friends. so she left me 3 years 9months ago. I still was stupid to put her through a lot of stress after we broke up. I nearly killed myself for her. Eversince that day i been trying to get back with her. I love the girl with all my heart i believe she is the one. So i planned something out for next sat i was oging to pick her up early in the morning and i was going to take her out to get some breakfast then

well me and my crush ( he also has a crush on me) went to the moives and ever sense then we been talking on the phone we even talked for 2 hours and today he told me that we could hang out but i had something to do so then he aksed me what i was doing tommorow so we could hang out. Okay, I'm a guy. I can get sensitive. Within the past week, my girlfriend of eight months broke up with me. She told me that just recently she's lost feelings for me. She also says that she thinks she likes some other kid. What is confusing is, she hooked up with somebody last summer and she hated him. She said she regretted it and she would never talk to him again. Now, the guy she has a date arranged with is the guy's best friend, and she and him are talking again. I stayed home from work Monay sobbing it all out, and ended up having to sit in the back room yesterday just because I couldnt keep a tear out of my eye. I'm up for a good half an hour each night so far thinking about everything we did, and how fast it went away. I really don't know what to do, and need some suggestions. I'm not that stereotypical beer-drinking party guy, and only met her because we went to school together. I just don't know what to do from here.

I had a crush on this girl. She didn't want to start anything. I said I was cool with it and moved on sort of - she wanted to be friends and I am cool with that.

Trouble is that it seems that she doesn't want anything at all by the way that she acts most days. Then on a handful of other days she is really chatty and wants to be around me, wants to know what I'm up to etc.

As I said, I'm cool about just being friends but when I say hi to a friend I like to get a response. Not the cold shoulder. I always answer her but she ignores me some times.

It wasn't like this before and I just wish it could go back to normal.

Any advice on how to fix this up? Just quickly it's been over a month since I asked her out and to me it seems like plenty of time to move on.

I have a crush on a guy that is in a band. My dad knows him and his father. I have never spoken to him. He always makes eye contact every time I see him, my dad also said that the guy couldn’t keep his eyes off me the whole night. Whenever he is on his break from the band I can never get away from the people that I am with to go near the area that he is in. I know that he is single.

Do you think it is wrong for me to go up to him and talk to him?

ok, so i met this guy on the internet.. and we started talking...
We talk every day . Well he flirts with me too..
we talk about almost everything and anything.

I have known my crush for 4 months now and him and I have liked each other the first day we saw each other. He's been trying to trick me into saying I like him but I cath him doing it. I know I asked already but I left out an important detail.

My fiance' cheated on me with a girl he dated 3 years ago. He said it "was only" sex.

They exchanged 300 emails while he and I were dating and engaged. He asked to see her more than the one time they had sex. He asked about 6 other times and they discussed getting together 3 other times. He asked see her again and spoke to her continously after they slept together. She told him she wouldn't see or talk to him anymore if he ws seeing me, and he tried to get her attention as she pulled away. He told her we were engaged and she told him they should never speak again. After our engagement he still tried to get her attention.

When I found out, I called off the engagement/relationship but when it came out he tried to justify it as "only sex."

From a male point of view, could it just be about sex? My understanding of it just being about sex, it would be a get in, get out and get gone. This to me is not that.

The guy I like who likes me says he's physically and mentally attracted to me. This leads me to believe not emotionally, but since he's not an emotional person, "emotions are dead to me," he says, should I consider this good since he's attracted to me in a way that counts to him since he's a logical person? How is a girl supposed to know if a guy is asking for sex to use her or because he wants a relationship. At how many days or weeks into meeting a girl does a guy consider her a serious girlfriend and not just using her? I need to know because I can never tell if a guy likes me or not. All these girls say that want " a good guy that takes care of me " but if you are nice, and their Mother likes you and stuff, they leave you for a slimball..

Thank God I paid attention to the older crowd of girls I ran with, they looked out for me and scolded me. I learned from them that even though they slept with men, and they were real pretty, that even they couldn't keep a man. So I just said to myself, hey if you can't get a man even when you sleep with them, then why sleep with them at all?
