If you are an adult and are not married or engaged or have a significant other, talk over the phone. But don't rule your life by your emotions. They are the heart of all selfishness. Think, be reasonable, don't give your heart away as if it were on sale or because you like what you hear. Words are one thing, real life is another. Stop for awhile or talk to someone else with similar traits and see how you feel. Good luck

Oooh...I'm always kind of skeptical about internet relationships...
I don't believe that anyone can start actually loving someone if they haven't even seen them face to face. That's just my opinion.
People act totally different online than they do in person. I mean, think about it...you get an endless amount of time to think about what you're going to say...you don't get to test the person's actual conversation skills...you only know about the person what he tells you.
So, I don't exactly know what I'd do in this situation. It's really up to you. If you think you like (and trust) the guy enough to meet him in person, then go right ahead. But just be careful.

Be very careful. Meet him in a public place for a set time. Have a friend nearby for back up if you begin to feel uncomfortable so that they can "accidentally" see you and want to catch up or arrive for your meeting. Don't give out any personal information. Take it easy, relax, use your common sense. If there is no chemistry then enjoy your coffee and leave it at that.

You need to make sure he's not going to rape you or something. I would never meet a guy in person that I met over the internet, it doesnt feel right. But your situation kind of reminds me of the movie a cinderella story with Hilary Duff. Well, good luck with whatever you do.

It is possible.. I met a girl randomly on the internet, and we message almost everyday.. same thing with messages about everything and anything, i think I like her, & have dropped hints, but I really don't know if she likes me back... All i can say is just be careful, make your first meeting in a PUBLIC PLACE.. if he does actually like u, he'll understand

I would be very concerned that he used the word love when he hasnt met you yet. It is very possible that he does like you but when someone uses the word love so soon seems very scary. be very careful and dont move to fast take things slow.

There is no way i hell that you could love a person if you have never met them. Its probably just the excitement of something new. Just like every other realtionship it will ware off soon.

have you met him in real life, this might not work out if it is internet only due to the fact that you are projecting desired qualities onto eachother without meeting/getting to really know one another. i say date him once and then see what he thinks.

I think your guess is as good as mine. How could someone say i love you to a girl he haven't seen yet? You need to know each other more. you also need to meet personally
