why is it that sex is all guys care about. my guy friend/ex talks about it alot. he tells me when he masturbates. and asks me what i like sexually. he talks sweet thought. we both know we love each other and want top spend the rest of our lives together. he wants a baby! he told me everything he wants in life. we talk about everything. were so close. but how can i know if he really is using me. i need to know before i make a mistake.

If you have doubts, then it is not a good idea to enter in to a long term relationship. If he talks about sex a lot and it bothers you - remember that this will only escalate when you marry him. Everyone has a different sexual appetite. Some people really find talking about it erotic. Perhaps this is the issue with your boyfriend.

to understand why guys think about sex the way they do your gonna have to remember something you learned in freshman science class, that is evolution. Up for it? The male species sub-conscience goal in life is to spread his seed as far and wide as possible for as long as possible and as fast as possible. So the answer to your first question is, men think about sex involuntarily and masturbation is away to "practice" for the big game. Your other concern was that he was using you, I nor can anyone else here determine that for you, you have to make a choice and live with it. Weigh the consequences, and ask yourself is he worth it.
